Probably because they do the same thing, with the same sort of files, etc. You can install as many copies of Eclipse as you need, if you want to use CFEclipse for some things and ColdFusion Builder for others. This shouldn't really be too surprising, as ColdFusion Builder is intended to be used instead of CFEclipse.
