Actually, ASP isn't a language, it's a (something else). So you don't
necessarily want to compare CF with ASP, but CF with either VBScript or
JavaScript (the Big Two ASP languages).
My current project is ASP -- but uses JavaScript for the language. The
conclusion I came up with is that someone in a suit made the decision on
which platform to build the app. Morons.
