Thanks Dan. This is a bit different than the old "embedded" Facebook apps. Rather Facebook Connect is their solution to signing into one account across the web. Using your Facebook account to authenticate to a variety of apps.
You can see it working on Digg as an example. You can think of my usage as trying to incorporate Facebook Connect into Ray's Galleon (forums) system. I would like the ability for the user to be able to register like they usually can OR they can opt to register to the forums using their Facebook account. Ideally this will generate more registrations as well as we can then display (with their permission) information right on their Wall for their friends to see.
