Hey Victor, I use 10g all the time.....
I've never been able to do multiple statements inside one CFQUERY block. As Dave said, it may be a matter of a default setting (which I'd never thought of). I'm a bit doubtful on that one as I did not find any evidence of that when I first started with Oracle (coming from SQL Server where it was possible).
