I'm currently trying to install the developer version of CF8 under Apache on a
different machine (I've already got it successfully configured on my laptop).

After I install CF under apache, it attempts to load the
CFIDE/Administrator/index.cfm file so that I can finish configuring CF.
However, apache seems to not know what to do with the file (the browser pops up
a dialog box asking me to download the file).

My first instinct was that all of the CF install was fubared. However, if I put
a sample index.cfm file in the Apache webroot, it successfully executes. If I
point the browser at '[host]/CFIDE/Administrator/login.cfm' I see the form
boxes for logging in. [and immediate am asked to download the index.cfm file
after I enter the login info].

The new machine is Windows 7. The laptop its currently working sucessfully on
is XP. (Not sure if that makes a difference). In sort, cfm files are being
handled successfully by Apache/CF - unless that happen into involve the
administrator index.cfm (which is kind of important for adding datasources).

Any ideas what I might try? Anyone else see this behavior?
