Tried that as well. Does not line up.

Ex:

 <option value="1">3M | XYZ Corporation</option>
 <option value="1">ABCDY | AB Corporation of Delaware</option>

The first one is 2 characters and 5 spaces
The second one if 5 characters and 2 spaces

Both equal 7 spaces :-(

I am wondering if the is a CSS way to do it.
