I'm trying to use the Apache POI to write an excel file to the browser. I can generate the excel files no problem, but what I want to do is sent the data directly to the browser without hitting the file system at all. Sort of like using cfcontent with html. I want to use cfcontent and output a variable, but I haven't been able to figure it out yet. Does anyone have any ideas how to do this or have examples of doing this?
