Hi all, one of our sites makes use of the PDF thumbnail capabilities to generate PNG files that are fed to a flash front-end. In the past this has worked fairly well, but recently it has not been pulling the images from the PDF files properly. The page in question is at:
http://www.lakewoodranch.com/news/around-the-ranch.cfm The current issue (Feb 2, 2010) is not showing the photos, and the previous issue from Jan 20 shows the images garbled and distorted. Most previous issues did not have this problem. Our client swears they have not made any changes to their environment or the version of their PDF created being used to create the PDF files. I was curious if anyone has experienced this in their own PDF thumbnail and if there was a known solution? This is running on a ColdFusion 8 Standard server, version 8,0,1,195765 with JVM 1.6.0_11.
