Thanks Dave, I searched my site and I was only using client variables a few time and it was all in the application.cfm page. I just switched them to session variables instead of client and I disabled clientManagement. This fixed the issue.

Does anyone have any ideas on > how to decrease the overall amount of records stored? First, are you actually using client variables in your application? If not, just disable this option and be done with it. Second, are you using the specific variables Client.HitCount and Client.LastVisit? If not, go to your client variable repository settings in CF Administrator and check "disable global client variable updates" or whatever it's called. Third, set up a scheduled task in your database server to periodically delete these records. If you don't actually use them for long-term persistent storage, run the scheduled task daily. Fourth, I really hope you're not using MS Access for this, as you will encounter very poor performance even after deleting records - you also have to shrink the database periodically.
