Got it! Thanks to all that replied and helped! Barney, I used your UDF and it worked as a fantastic starting point. The XML displayed to the screen and was formatted almost perfectly. The one issue that I had, which I think you mention in your blog post, was that it was increasing the indent on every line until it came across a closing tag at the start of a line.
I added a fix that worked for my use case and would be more than willing to share. As you mentioned in your blog post the Googles didn't really help when I looked around for things. Have you ever thought of posting the UDF up on Riaforge.org or cflib.org? I found it highly useful.
