Any chance you moved to a Win 2008 server? We had a similar problem and it turned out that after we set everything up Win2K8 re-secured a couple of directories and there were security exceptions in the log.

I did that but still get the same error. The CFIDE is setup correctly and all websites see and have access to it. You can view the javascript in the browser output. I also have tried the recommendation here... http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/000/ebd0cbe3.html but still have the same issue.
