Done that one too... It seems like every one that came up had a different solution. Some clients didn't care about html in the boxes, some did.
I say start holding the designers accountable. Bring them in and make them help with a solution. I've been away from client to client development for a while and work with a single product daily. Now instead of designers doing such things, we deal with the sales people selling things that don't exist "yet"... If we can get either of them to stop putting such things in front of clients, BEFORE telling us, life would be too easy :-) -----Original Message----- From: Les Mizzell [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Tuesday, June 01, 2010 12:06 AM To: cf-talk Subject: Re: Variable Amount of text in a Fixed Size Box > Client configured fonts are a PAIN in these situations. I clean it on the way into the database to start with, then strip all the HTML on output for this particular box... __________ Information from ESET NOD32 Antivirus, version of virus signature database 5160 (20100531) __________ The message was checked by ESET NOD32 Antivirus. http://www.eset.com ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Order the Adobe Coldfusion Anthology now! http://www.amazon.com/Adobe-Coldfusion-Anthology-Michael-Dinowitz/dp/1430272155/?tag=houseoffusion Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-talk/message.cfm/messageid:334172 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-talk/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-talk/unsubscribe.cfm
