In CFAdmin (CF9), if you click on SERVER SETTING > SETTINGS SUMMARY, there's a line called UPDATE LEVEL under SYSTEM INFORMATION > SERVER DETAILS. This is not in CF8 for some reason.
In both CF9/CF8 CFAdmin, you can click on the "i" icon at the upper right, next to the LOGOUT link, and it should display the UPDATE LEVEL as well. CAVEAT: I know I installed some other hotfixes on my CF8 server, but it only displays chf8010004 (cumulative hotfix 4). I know I installed the XSS hotfix (http://www.adobe.com/support/security/bulletins/apsb09-12.html <http://www.adobe.com/support/security/bulletins/apsb09-12.html>) and the BlazeDS hotfixes (http://www.adobe.com/support/security/bulletins/apsb10-05.html) for CF8, but it does not display it anywhere.
