I have created a cfc that you pass in queries and get back an xls with multiple worksheets. This seems to work great and opens perfectly in Microsoft Excel. However if I open it in OpenOffice I get a screen telling me it's importing text and asks me to choose the language. Then the content of the document is actually just the XML markup as plain text within two cells.
