You can call VBScript programs from a command prompt, using the cscript.exe or wscript.exe commands. Strictly speaking, though, you can't use DOS to call VBScript, because there's no such thing as DOS in Windows NT and higher - you have a command shell, but that's not DOS. Sorry to be such a pedant.
