Really, the only question you need to be asking is about the
auto-negotiate setting on the network equipment between your CF server
and your SQL server.  I'd start by looking at the NIC settings on each
server and on each piece of networking equipment between the servers.
If you have direct access to these devices, I'd just Google around for
instructions on how to find the settings and make sure they are NOT
set to auto-negotiate.  If you do not have direct access to the
machines, simply ask your hosting provider to verify that none of the
machines or networking equipment have auto-negotiate turned on.
