its strange as there isnt actually an error being thrown by firebug. In the text area i entered: "Testing Testing" ... then if i dump out the JSON text it displays it as "Testing Testing" but the grid doesnt load. It appears to have a space instead of a line break. However, if i loop through one character at a time in coldfusion there are two chr(10) values.
