To be honest you're coming at it a little backwards. Which one you would use
depends on what you're planning on building and what you hope to get out of
a framework.

This is like asking if you should buy a truck or a boat. The answer is
always going to be, it depends.

So start with "What are you looking for in a framework"

   - Shallow Learning Curve
   - Built In ORM
   - Plays nicely with other Frameworks / OS Projects
   - Minimal Coding
   - Adherence to strict standards
   - Availability of plug in ready modules
   - Availability of training docs / resources
   - Ability to get a job using the skills gained from using this framework
