Nathan, I have experienced quite a bit of slowness in ColdFusion Builder. It will randomly hang, sometimes it recovers and sometimes it takes so long that I shut it done and restart (at which point the long restart is annoying).
A friend recently suggested that closing large projects (not the files - the projects themselves, right-click on the project and click "Close Project"). I tried that about a week ago and I haven't had any problem since. Here's hoping that holds up...
