Thanks for the feedback. I decided to go with standalone and it seems very solid so far. BTW, I figured out my problem with the tag completion. There are 2 settings that need to be set to get this to work. If you go to Preferences->ColdFusion->Editor Profiles->Editor, under Code Assist, you have to check "Automatically Insert a Closing Tag" and under Typing something other than "Never" needs to be chosen under "Auto-close tags". This is very strange that the settings are on 2 different pages, I've been fighting with this for at least a year now and posted several threads to no avail. I'm glad I found it.
