I know this belongs on a Flash forum, but I haven't found a good one yet.
Anyway, I assume that many programmers use Flash to augment their CF apps.
So, here goes...
I use a lot of JavaScript on the client side of my CF apps... it
greatly improves the flow and user interface.
The major problem with JavaScript is it can't really be hidden,
leaving it open to hacking and being pirated.
I have just begun playing with Flash 5 as a potential JavaScript
replacement (at least for the more complex routines).
To my inexperienced eye it appears that Flash is less open to hacking
and pirating.
If this is true, it could potentially reduce the duplicate
server-side validation programming in CF (if I knew that the Flash
client-side validation could not be hacked).
I am reluctant to do this,
Anyone know if Flash routines can be hacked or pirated?
TIA
Dick
