I'll bet you didn't var the query as well:

SELECT RecordID,RecordTitle FROM Records
WHERE RecordID = <cfqueryparam value="#arguments.RecordID#"
cfsqltype="CF_SQL_NUMERIC">
</cfquery>

Using the local scope (as others have said) makes this less of a pain.


<cfquery name="local.GetRecord" ...
