Are subdirectories considered part of the parent directory package? Or (in the case of one parent and one child directory) be considered two separate packages? The reason I ask is because I came across a statement, "A package is a group of components in the same directory (and its subdirectories) on the Coldfusion server." Statement was found in book "Advanced Macromedia Coldfusion MX 7 Application Development" page 578. When testing, if I used the attribute access="package" in the subdirectory, I couldn't access the function from the parent directory, it worked for access="public".
