Hi Andrew, Essentially, yes. I want the remote CF server that I am connecting to via RDP to write a file to my local filesystem. I can access the local file system using \\tsclient, so I thought CF, provided it has permissions, would be able to aswell. But it doesn't look like its gonna happen....

I don't think that it is permissible under any circumstances, and the OS will not see the remote resourced drive as this is something that the RDC can only see.
