Yes but my point is the correct password never changes.  It somehow
BECOMES invalid after a certain period of time.

I've spoken with my DBAs and there response is:

"the 1017 error shown in your screenshot is ONLY EVER produced because
the credentials supplied are invalid.  i.e.  wrong user name or
password"
