It still sounds like an excuse. If they are going to allow this "mixing", they should either not provide the feature or make it work. Both are provided features within ColdFusion. They are both cf tags, <cflayout> and <cftextarea rich>? If Adobe is going to include them within ColdFusion they should make sure they work.
