So I'm still confused - you've mentioned UML diagramming tools, and then talked about Software development life-cycle processes as a way of solving your diagramming tool issues.
There seems to be a disconnect somewhere here? Maybe if you could outline the issues you are having further, we could help narrow down a solution.
