Yes the java.lang.Thread class has a static method you can call
currentThread() which gives you the current thread, just call getName() on
it, eg:

<cfset currentThread = CreateObject("java",
"java.lang.Thread").currentThread()>
<cfoutput>Current Thread: #currentThread.getName()#</cfoutput>
