Thanks, Andrew, looks like it's working now, I changed the <cfapplication> block to a <cfscript> block per your suggestion and I am now getting the login screen, so thank you again. I'm going to tinker with it a little more and see if I can integrate it with the rest of my code (it's a standalone site/page right now). Thanks again!
