What exactly does your client need to do with this LMS? You haven't given us much to go on. There aren't all that many LMS products out there any more. On the commercial side, you have Blackboard - they bought up practically everyone else. On the FOSS side, you have Moodle. There are also various products that have some LMS functionality, like Adobe Connect.
