Yep... been trying that... striking out... perhaps I don't know how to form a proper link... say to notepad as a simple example.
C:/Windows/system32/notepad.exe I would guess that this is prohibited by the browser for the exact same reason everyone else was suggesting earlier... an enormous security risk.
