We had a similar issue, but our problem was caused by a CF code snippet not
being interpreted after it was retrieved from the database. After the file
was moved into our cached files directory, the code executed perfectly.
Have you checked your CF Application Log file for an associated error that
you may not be seeing?
Just my 2 cents.

Subject: images stop loading?
I have a problem and I'm not sure if it is CF, IE, or something else. I
have a page with lots of images (40), and usually when I hit it, everything
works fine, but occasionally, the page hangs while downloading the
images. I can check the downloaded code, and it looks fine, but the images
stop loading.
The closest thing I've found to it is this:
http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q269/8/02.ASP?LN=EN-US&SD=g
n&FR=0&qry=internet%20explorer%20hang%20loading%20page&rnk=5&src=DHC
Has anyone else seen this, or am I on the wrong track and perhaps this is
some CF problem?
The site is running on Win2K with SQL 2000, and my browser is IE 5.5,
though I haven't tried it on other browsers yet.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
