Hello everyone! Before you go into MEGO (My Eyes Glaze Over) mode, here is the situation. I have a MS SQL server set up for full text searches. When I perform a search that returns more than 1000 records we are getting several seconds for the search to be performed. Is there a way in SQL, Colf Fusion or dancing about (I'm willing to try about anything right now) to get the server to return records x to x+max results (i.e. records 1001 to 1200)? Since I need to add ANOTHER join to the search stored procedure, the performance will go even further south. Please help if you can. My brain is about fried after fighting this.
