Hey Mark,

I respectfully disagree on all counts

1) Allaire caters to big businesses
-- If that's true, then how does Vignette or Broadvision (two makers
of big business application servers) cater to "small business"? I've
checked into both their programs..you can't even download and
evaluate software without becoming a "partner". Allaire offers CF
Express, evaluation downloads of ALL their products, top notch tech
support, forums, a great developer conference and MOST OF ALL, a
great product in ColdFusion built with simplicity in mind, aimed at
all developers, beginning and experienced.

2) ..high sticker price of being a partner with them
-- Last time I checked (exactly two seconds ago), it costs a TOTAL
of $495 to be a partner.
http://www.allaire.com/partners/narequirements.cfm Is $495 too much
for you? What do you want? A free partner program?

3) .. don't offer any sort of partnerships with individual
developers.
-- Who does? Why would it benefit them? What about the
certification program? What would an "individual" partnership look
like?
