It's funny you should mention this.
We've done several Macromedia Generator-based applications, and they've
mostly been on Solaris - Generator runs quite nicely on Solaris.
For development IDEs like Flash, UltraDev and Studio, it makes sense to
build Windows (and Mac) versions. For application servers, it makes sense to
support NT and Unix platforms. Both Allaire and Macromedia know this - it's
not rocket science.
