I would go with a SMTP/POP3 agent that is more stable and feature rich than
CFMAIL/CFPOP. Other than that, there aren't any technical issues that affect
feasibility. If you expect Hotmail like usage you are talking about a
different ballgame which requires more thought and time than a simple email
can do justice.
