We are converting and merging several Access based systems to Cold Fusion and Oracle
running on a Solarix server. We have a number of power users who need access to the
database for generation of Adhoc reports. Our users are used to using Access for
reporting.

We do not want to install Oracle on everyone's machine but would like to provide users
with the ability to build their own reports for display on the CF WEB site. Users
will need access to real-time data so that mirroring the Oracle in Access is not a
viable option.

We are considering Crystal Reports as well as the new Tera Tech Access based tool for
generation of reports using Access on an NT server as a front end to the Oracle
database.

Does anyone have any suggestions or experience with these tools or other reporting
packages?
