hi Scott,

I've had to make this same situation "work" before... it's not easy
at all.  There are numerous articles on MS Technet and the KB on how
to get this working. However, if would be much much easier to simply
buy a firewall hardware/software combo for $300 to $500 and place
that in front of your IIS & email box, rather than having
IIS/email/proxy/firewall.
