NS 4 gives a dialog saying "You have requested a secure document that
contains some insecure information.  The insecure information will not be
shown.  For more information on security choose Document Information from
the View menu."

NS6 gives you another message (can't get mine stable at the moment - too
many apps open)

I have seen some browsers which quite happily let you have secure and
non-secure though
