Hi All,

I know this has been discussed a couple of time but I could really use some
suggestions on methods of securing an application thru code (hardware is
being handled by a network security specialist).

I've always done simple database stored authentication, but for an
application I am about to bid on, basic security isn't even scratching the
surface. I'd like to do something more than just storing the users passwords
encrypted in the database.

Any suggestions that don't involve unplugging hardware?

TIA,
