I found an easier way to do advance security. After working with siteminder
till I was blue in the face I figured out how to use every aspect of it and
then I wrote an app to replace it. With siteminder you are dealing with a
memory hog on a high volume site. I wrote three custom tags and they are
free to use by anyone. You can either build the database and gui admin on
your own or you can buy the rest of my little product to go with it. In a
nutshell you can write password protected site with these tags and the end
product is a deliverable product to your clients. Here's the screen shots of
it's parent product. http://www.netwebapps.com/remotedev2001/index.htm The
security manager is the gui interface for managing the code you write with
the tags and the documentation tab give code examples of how to use the
tags.
