What I find works well on tables in both IE an Netscape is to make sure the
outer most table is set to a width using pixels instead of percentages and
keep it at or below 670 pixels -- that way it also will print identical to
that shown on-screen. Wider than 670 pixels and printouts can go screwy --
at least to HP laserjets.
The next level table therein can then be set to 100% or 660 pixels and it
will fill up the space avaialble and behave well both between browsers and
to the printer.
