It will not unless the custom tag has a VTM file along with it. By default the VTM should be placed in C:\Program Files\Allaire\ColdFusion Studio 4.5\Extensions\TagDefs\CFML\ If the tag does not come with a VTM you can have Studio generate a VTM, but it wont have a full menu interface like the ones that come installed with Studio. Go to the Tag Inspector tab in Studio. It looks like a magnifying glass over a piece of paper. Click on the little gear to open the Tag Definitions window. Then click Add Tag and add your custom tag with any attributes you want. jon ----- Original Message ----- From: "MBB" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "CF-Talk" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Friday, February 23, 2001 4:50 PM Subject: Adding Custom / Downloaded Tags > When you download or get a CF tag, you add it to the Cfusion/customtag > sub directory, now how does it get scene or pulled up in studio?, like the > other tags? > > Thanks Ahead of time > > > > ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Structure your ColdFusion code with Fusebox.
