    I'm gonna be annoying.  But, this is still an intranet.  An extranet 
would be for 'non-employees.'  A common example is when a company 
manufacturers a product, but does not sell them directly to customers.  The 
product is distributed through an dealer channel (independent of the main 
company).  The put up a site for the dealers, but not for the public.

     Unfortunately, I don't have anything else to add to your problems...

     Too many buzzwords...
