A good solution for switching network configurations is Net Switcher:
http://www.netswitcher.com/
It will run in eval mode indefinitely, but is only $9 US, and is well worth it! I
have a "home" profile for my laptop, and have created profiles with the data necessary
for specific clients' networks, which can be selected when I am on-site.
