Have a CF page that finds the IP and outputs it as generated Javascript code
to be used by the document. It's not the fastest, cleanest or easiest
way... but you don't have to deal with FrontPage... and isn't better to go
to extremes to show your displeasure of the program, RIGHT!? Who's with
me!!??
(*crickets chirp*)
The fun part is if you host the page, and they piss you off, you can always
change the output to say something like "Sorry... FrontPage is no longer
able to process that comand." And when they come to you you can say, "Gee,
that's a real shame FrontPage did that to you. Sure, I can fix that at my
usual rate..." >;)

Subject: OT: getting IP Address w/o cf
I have a client who has a site that is on unix (eww) and am needing to know
a way to get a user's ip address. I know how to do it with cold fusion, but
don't know how to with CGI or FrontPage. They have FrontPage 2000 server on
their web server. Any ideas?
