Mike,
Most major virus programs have some sort of "real time file system
protection" ...if you have something like this running on the server
.....CF isn't going to be able to write an file that the virus engine
recognizes as infected, no matter how much it wants.
Although I'm not sure on this, I suspect that you will be able to
determine if the virus engine is intervening based on the error code
that you get back when trapping errors from the CFFILE command.
