Hey - I assume you mean clientside printing???
If so it depends on your client - if you can set things like
margins/header/footer in the DOM then what you want is possible, (if it is I
don't know how and would like to know)
CF is on ther server - and isnt going to handle clientside printing..
If what you want is serverside printing, then I imagine it would be possible
using a COM object / CFX / some kind of plugin (Not that i'd know where to
start...)

The only way I could figure out how to do it from a coldfusion page was to
remove the header
and footer settings from the browser settings. If you find a better way,

LET ME KNOW!
As an aside, it would be so nice if CF would put something together so that
those of us who
are building web apps don't have to build/work with another app just to
handle
output.

hi
i need to handle a lot of web printing, printing of many different forms
for company use. Are there any ways whereby i can create a print button,
after user trigger the print button, it will print the html document but it
will not print the margin header and footer such as the web url, page no
etc. I do not want any of those to be printed. But how should i do it ??
Currently i am using Script X. It will handle the printing part , without
printing the margin headers and footers. But Script X does not seem to work
on Japanese Version OS. Does anyone know how to resolve this ???
