We have experienced two instances (three in a way) where templates/files
have gone blank:
1) FTP - newbies sometimes upload files and it only sends the wrapper id and
not content - fixed by sacking the newbie ;-)
2) Schedule - sometimes CFSchedule F**ks up a bit and when re-writing html
files it only writes the file properties (i.e. a blank html page) - have
never been able to fix this error once it stats to happen - something to do
with crop circles according to Allaire....
3) Warped SysAdmins who run bizarre cleaner bots over their "domains"
re-setting permissions, grabbing files by their headers and shaking out the
contents and generally digging up folder trees and burying them elsewhere.

No, none of the DEV work is via RDS, I thought about that as well :-(

Ive had problems like this when using RDS to develop remotely. Supposedly
shile saving files through RDS CFStudio has been known to write an empty
buffer and thus and empty template. I had heard that this was fixed in
Studio 4.5.1 tho, so That may not be your problem.

written via CFFILE or anything.
Also has anyone heard that CF Server needs Full Permissions
on all the template under NTFS?
Is there a permissions issue when running CF Server 4.01?
I am not sure when they will finally update to 4.5.1 but I have
to deal with what I have.
I have not heard that before.
