Thanks for the hints Bud,

Unfortunately, clearing the cache in the client hasn't helped.

The location of the IE error page is res://mshtml.dll/repost.htm,
so I can't modify an error handling page on the server to solve
the issue.

Our users are pretty uncomfortable computer users, and this is a restricted
site.
I'd like to 'try' to find a way to allow them to use the Back button without
giving them an error that they won't understand, and will freak out about
and
call help desk.

Any body have any other ideas?

Thanks!

Andrew

I think it's more of a result in your browser cache being full. This
usually shouldn't happen every time, unless the post is huge. I may
be wrong, but I believe that's how it works.

You'll probably need to give them a form link back if it persists. Or
just have them hit refresh.
